Tash York is a multi-award winning cabaret performer and MC with best cabaret nominations at every single fringe festival throughout Australia. Known for her ballsy voice, dynamic energy and an uncanny ability to rap on command, Tash “is a phenomenal performer, charismatic and courageous” (Theatre People). With her unique brand of comedy cabaret she has performed to sold out audiences across Australia and Edinburgh with international appearances on cruise ships all over the world.

As a self made producer/performer, Tash has made a lot of her own success in the independent scene with her keen sense of business acumen and willingness to learn everything about producing a show. She has a background in Publicity and Marketing services which she tailors and designs for other independent artists to help encourage them to share their art with as many people as possible. She worked as the marketing coordinator for the Butterfly Club pre-pandemic, and she has continued to do this with her own mentoring sessions in both the producing and creative space.

As a result of her "hustle," Tash has performed to sold-out audiences at Perth Fringe World, Adelaide Fringe, Edinburgh Fringe, Melbourne Cabaret Festival, Ballarat Cabaret Festival, Brisbane Wonderland Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival and many more. You’ll find her at almost every major festival performing her solo comedy cabaret shows or onstage as the resident host of The After Hours Cabaret Club.
